~ How Would You Quilt This ~
I am making a full size quilt using lights and darks. The picture below shows the setting I am using .This is not the quilt only a picture I found online . I can't show it just yet because its a gift but you can bet on it I will have pictures soon.
So the questions is how do you quilt a Log Cabin Quilt???? I will be quilting this on my sewing machine ........

You can do stitch in the ditch or diagonal across the blocks if you want to straight stitch.

Back in February 2010 I explored several ways of quilting Log Cabin quilts. Given your quilt you might want to checkout my 26 February post first. However, my post on 2, 4, 7, 11, 20, and 25 February might give you some ideas as well.
Oops, my first suggestion should read 16 February not 26 February. The other dates are correct, I think.

I'm a fan of free-motion swirls and loop-de-loops or stippling/meandering. The curves contrast nicely with the straight lines on front.
Hi Betty, I found you while I was out looking around on Pat's 501 Quilt Block blog. I have done nothing but read your ENTIRE blog since I found it. I have never figured out how to read posts on Google Friends Connect (GFC), so usually request post updates via e-mail, but I don't see that option on your blog. I'm fairly new to quilting, and evidently I'm anal, because thus far, I've agonized over everything I've done. I know I want to quilt, but get so frustrated and don't enjoy the process. I keep thinking if I read blogs by quilters, I'll get some tips and hints and start enjoying it. I look at what you've done, and I am absolutely AMAZED! The train quilt, the helicopter quilt, the double wedding ring quilts. Oh my...to be able to have the talent to do something like that and actually enjoy it. I have seen concentric circles done on the blocks and liked the look. I guess it depends if you are looking for something freeform or a specific design.
