My husband's great niece had a baby girl this month .
Let me tell you this is so fast to make . I was only sewing a couple of days and it was done .
I made this cute quilt for her.
The idea came from Mary at -http://www.maryquilts.com/strings/half-square-strings/ she has some great ideas for string quilts .
Let me tell you this is so fast to make . I was only sewing a couple of days and it was done .I machine quilted this one on my sewing machine and did the swirl quilting design freehand (a first for me) .

I had to laugh because one of my friends just had a baby about a week ago and they named her Ava too..LOL
