Was having fun this morning in the sewing room .
I am trying to finish up a quilt I start a while back.
It's from Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville site The block is called 'Happy Scrappy Houses'. All going good......... I place the finished rows on the floor to look at the progress when I noticed one block was not laying flat so I take it to the machine rip out some seams and make a few adjustments then sew it all back. By this time I am adding another row of blocks and feeling pretty darn good........ I then put the finished quilt top on the floor again to admire my work .......That is when I saw it!!!! The house block I fixed was FLIPED upside down!! What you think...flip it or leave it???
It's laying so nice and flat now that I fixed it I hate to mess with it !! HAHA!!

Thanks for your comment. You could always leave the house. The amish have to have a mistake in each of their quilts because God is the only one perfect.
Leave it! It is in a perfect place and it looks intentional. That's your conversation piece for the quilt!
Betty I think you should leave it.....the top looks fantastic..
It's sort of fun as it is, but if it's going to bother you every time you look at it then I suppose you should flip it.
How cute.. I would say leave it and like your title of this post, name the I don't flip houses..... too cute.... thanks for visiting my blog... have a wonderful day.

Considering the title of this quilt and the whimsy of the blocks being off-kilter, I think you have to leave the one block upsidedown. I agree with Elain, Littlebook, and Peg. But QuiltSue has a good point, too. I vote for leaving it, and thanks for your kind words on my blog!
Hi Betty,
thanks so much for visiting, and for your nice comments! Your quilt is so neat! I love how the houses are "flipped"! And little LuLu is a sweetie!
My vote is definitely leave it in. I think it adds charm to the quilt. Your quilt top is wonderful!
What a fun quilt! I love your wonky houses. I think it's absolutely fine the way it is - it's supposed to be wonky, right?
Leave it!
Oh I like it! Leave it! It can be the one that got hit by the tornado...
