I sold my business today to a very good friend of mine ,Michelle .
For those that didn't know what I did part time . I had a vending business for 12 years . This is a business I started from ground up (basically all that means is I really didn't know what I was doing !!HAHA!!) and learned very fast . I started by buying an existing route with 30 units and grew from there . Every year I would buy a few machines . Slowly building up till I had machines in 4 different cities around my home . Vending is a very good business for part time work . I worked my routes alone for years till my husband retired and felt that he HAD to come with me for Protection HAHA!! Yea,guess he's right :))
These are some pictures of what the machines that I had looked like .
I really enjoyed my work and will miss it some what but it's time to move on .......
I said I am retired but ....I am only 58 . So I may not be REALLY retired .
Who knows I just may find something else to do .

Congratulations on your "retirement". I will say that I have retired 3 times now. Once at 53, when I took early retirement (UK retirement age is 60 for women and 65 for men) when we moved up north, then I got bored and did a part-time job for several years, retired again and then my friend opened a quilt shop, so there I was working again! We've closed the shop now, so I'm retired again in theory.
I love retirement, and I find that there is never enough time to do all that I want. Quilting, gardening, reading, yoga, grandkids, movies...loads of good stuff to keep one busy! Oh, and blogging, of course. Thanks for stopping by!
