~ 3 Batches Of Banana Bread ~

Got to love banana bread!!!
Was in a baking mood one day last week and pulled out some bananas from the freezer. I buy them when they are reduced and just put them in the freezer. I also freeze ripen bananas . They make the best Banana Bread. This is one I made and added a glaze over it !! Yum!!!! ( recipe to follow)

Love my small loaf pans . I actually own 3 of these pans !! They are my favorites . They are made by Wilton and you can find them at Wal Mart and Michaels too. One batch of the banana bread recipe fits in this 9 loaf pan .....
Banana Bread
1 stick of butter
1 egg
3/4 cup sugar
3 large bananas or 4 small ones
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 chopped nuts( I use pecan)
heat oven to 350
mash the bananas really good with a fork then add the egg, sugar, melted butter. Mix well. Add the flour, soda, baking powder, salt, nuts . The mixture will be very thick . Spray the pan with Pam then pour batter into the pan . Bake till golden brown .
The Glaze
1 cup of confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 tablespoon of milk
Mix will and pour over hot bread

I love banana bread and can't wait to try your recipe. I also love Wilson cake pans, but I don't have this particular pan. I've been using a silicone pan, but I will also try to pick up one of the Wilson Cake pans you use. Thanks for the recommendation. I've been happy with other Wilson cake pans, so I can't wait to give this one a try for Banana bread.
